Price My Offer
This Launch Pad takes you from guessing to a defensible first price: your floor, a value-based price recommendation, a positioning statement, and the practice you need to say the number out loud. It is your pricing hypothesis, not your final price. That comes in LP 3.5, after you have a pipeline, live customer reactions, and the emotional safety net to quote with conviction. LP 2.5 answers "What should I charge to start selling without losing money?" LP 3.5 answers "What should I charge now that I know what my work is actually worth to the people buying it?" The price you set here is a starting point. You will raise it. The question is not whether, it is when.
Bring to the session
- Your product spec and cost data from LP 2.2, LP 2.3, or LP 2.4
- Your initial pricing from LP 1.4 and your sales data from LP 1.5
- Your cost to deliver one unit (from Step 1 of the Pricing Courage System above)
- 2-3 competitor prices (a quick search will do; look at premium competitors, not cheap ones)
- Your target customer description (from LP 1.2, Book 1)
- One sentence each for the dream outcome your customer achieves and the job they are hiring your product to do
What you walk away with
your price floor with the 3x multiplier applied, a value-based price recommendation, a positioning statement, a comparison matrix, a draft guarantee, and rehearsed answers to the objections you fear most.
The AI does the calculation and the framing. You say the number to a real customer and hold the silence. It can draft an objection response. It cannot feel the flinch, and the flinch is where the courage gets built.
The guided version opens with The Builder's Desk
A 4-step guided session that structures the work, saves your outputs, and connects them across chapters. Until then, the full briefing is in your copy of the book — it works with any capable AI assistant.
From the book: Save this output, you will need it for LP 2.6, LP 2.7, LP 3.5, and LP 3.9. Your pricing baseline is referenced every time you write a sales page, plan outreach, raise your price, or negotiate. LP 3.5 ("Raise My Price") builds directly on the foundation you set here.
